ChatGPT Chat Cleaner helps you manage visible ChatGPT sidebar chats.
The extension runs locally in your browser. It adds a cleaner panel to ChatGPT, lets you select visible sidebar chats, then archive or delete selected chats through ChatGPT’s own menu actions.
ChatGPT Chat Cleaner does not collect, store, sell, share or transmit your ChatGPT conversation content to Bicknell Digital.
What the extension does
ChatGPT Chat Cleaner adds a small control panel to the ChatGPT web interface.
When you turn cleaner mode on, the extension adds checkboxes beside visible non-project chats in the ChatGPT sidebar. You can select individual chats, select all currently loaded chats, then archive or delete the selected chats one by one.
The extension uses ChatGPT’s own visible menu actions. It does not call ChatGPT backend APIs directly and does not handle ChatGPT authentication tokens.
Data the extension reads
The extension reads visible ChatGPT sidebar content so it can show checkboxes beside chats and identify which selected chats to archive or delete.
This includes:
Visible chat titles in the ChatGPT sidebar
Visible chat links in the ChatGPT sidebar
Chat row elements needed to open ChatGPT's own archive or delete menu
The extension does not read the content inside your conversations.
Data stored locally
The extension stores some settings locally in your browser using Chrome storage.
This includes:
Whether cleaner mode is enabled
Your cooldown seconds setting
Your local daily free action count
The local calendar date used to reset the free action count
This data stays in your browser. Bicknell Digital does not receive this local settings data.
Payments and Pro access
ChatGPT Chat Cleaner offers a free plan and a paid lifetime Pro unlock.
Free users get 10 archive or delete actions per local calendar day.
Paid users get lifetime unlimited access.
Payment and licence status are handled through ExtensionPay and Stripe.
When you upgrade or restore a purchase, ExtensionPay and Stripe process the payment and licence check. Bicknell Digital does not receive your card details.
ExtensionPay can use payment-related information, such as your email address, to confirm and restore your paid access.

ChatGPT conversation messages
ChatGPT account passwords
ChatGPT cookies
ChatGPT access tokens
Full browsing history
Keystrokes
Mouse position
Location data
Health information
Private documents
Financial details entered into Stripe
Data sharing
Bicknell Digital does not sell your data.
Bicknell Digital does not share your ChatGPT chat content with third parties.
Payment and licence checks are handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe so that paid users can unlock and restore lifetime Pro access.
Remote code
ChatGPT Chat Cleaner does not use remote JavaScript or remote WebAssembly.
All extension code, including the ExtensionPay library used by the extension, is included in the extension package.
The extension does not use eval and does not execute remotely hosted scripts.
Permissions
The extension requests access to ChatGPT because it needs to add the cleaner panel to the ChatGPT page, read visible sidebar chat rows, add checkboxes beside those rows and trigger ChatGPT’s own archive or delete menu actions when you choose them.
The extension uses Chrome storage to save local settings and local free usage counts.
Your choices
You can stop using the extension at any time by disabling or removing it from Chrome.
To remove it:
1. Open chrome://extensions/
2. Find ChatGPT Chat Cleaner
3. Click Remove
You can also clear the extension’s local storage by removing and reinstalling the extension.
Changes to this policy
This privacy policy can be updated when the extension changes.
